DAY 1 – ISTANBUL, TURKEY
Begin the journey in a town filled with charm and cultural diversity. Roam the ‘blue’ mosque of Sultan Ahmet, the Grand Bazaar, opulent Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia or sink into a serene Turkish Bath experience. We recommend indulging in butter-soaked baklava and freshly picked olives while you’re here.
DAY 2 – AT SEA
Take this time to soak in all that Explora I has to offer. Choose between the stylish bar and lounge areas or relax by one of the pools with a cocktail in hand.
DAY 3 – SANTORINI, GREECE
Set sail into one of Greece’s most famous islands- Santorini. Begin the day exploring whitewashed houses, paved paths and terracotta cliffs in the main town. Then settle in for a slow moonlit dinner high on a hilltop, just in time for the world-famous sunset.
DAY 4 – RHODES, GREECE
A sun-kissed island with a UNESCO-listed Old Town, Rhodes has so much to offer. Apart from glistening beaches, it’s also home to many ancient ruins. The site of Colossus of Rhodes is a must see, being one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
DAY 5 – BODRUM, TURKEY
At this point in the journey, explore the old-world fishing town with high society appeal- Bodrum. Be inspired by the sunlit Peninsula of the turquoise coast as you spend the day fine dining, shopping and exploring.
DAY 6 – SAMOS, GREECE
This magnificent island boasts lush botanical beauty: hike through the hills to springs and waterfalls, seeking pretty mountain villages, churches and monasteries. Alongside a wealth of great beaches with sparkling azure waters, we recommend visiting the archaeological museum in the pretty harbour town of Pythagorio.
DAY 7 – PAROS, GREECE
Towards the end of the trip, find yourself in the picturesque Paros- known for its lavish dining, blue-domed churches and a bounty of white-sand beaches. Visit Naoussa- the island’s most stylish hub with all the best restaurants and bars.
DAY 8 – ATHENS, GREECE
On the final day you’ll wake up in Athens, a city that exudes glamour and a sense of possibility – gelaterias, boutiques and a plethora of museums. Our number one recommendation would of course be visiting the archaeological wonders of the Acropolis and the Parthenon.
